GDPR & How we use your data
Welcome to Quotempole, we want to help people buying, selling, releasing or transferring equity from their homes or property by giving you a comparative choice. After talking to a number of people it became apparent that concerns over uncertain costs when dealing with solicitors and licenced conveyers over the additional pricing when acting for you in conveyancing varied substantially. Some of these costs were vastly different and could double or even treble the original quote provided, that was quite a surprise when your final bill arrived. As property transactions are probably one of the largest financial commitments you’ll ever undertake, we want you to be able to accurately budget your expenses when quoting for conveyancing services. We think you should know what your total costs are likely to be and that should include things like all disbursements, searches, and land registry fees. These additional expenses are substantial, and we want to be able to give you these costs in your quote, so you can be confident, the price you have been quoted on screen is the price you will be charged. We also thought it important to include a pledge that if your transaction did not complete, you will not have to pay a fee. Of course we understand property transactions are fraught with unknowns, and sometimes it cannot be helped, things change, but rest assured, with our quote any changes will be discussed with you before any costs are incurred, and we are confident you won’t get a better quote elsewhere. We also want to make you aware there are insurance policies you can take out to cover abortive transactions. These types of policies reimburse booking and survey fees, and can be quite cost effective. Your mortgage adviser (if you have used one) should be able to help you arrange these, if you would like to know more about these please send an email to info@quotempole.co.uk, use our low rate phone number 0300 400 4124 or the on line chat facility and we will put you in touch with a specialist broker that deals with this type of insurance. We have found in today’s fast paced world, it is no longer a requirement to physically see your conveyancing representative. Let’s face it, have you got the time to take out of your busy schedule to travel into the city centre to meet your solicitor? Or run around getting numerous quotes then comparing them for what is, and more importantly, what is not included in your quote? These transactions are now almost exclusively done by email and post. Your conveyancing comparison report allows you to read feedback on the respective firms and you can instruct the one you feel most comfortable working with, from the comfort of your home. We use your information in a variety of ways these are to introduce you to a range of firms, some regulated that can provide the service you require.
